Project Mission

The project’s mission is to get people to create their own adventures – no matter how small – and have
A Taste for the Road act as a helpful guide to make road trips, visiting independent coffee shops, impromptu winery hops, and food destinations easier to put together with friends and family along the East Coast of the United States. Life is much more enjoyable when there are fun things to do.

Through good storytelling, quality focused and slightly entertaining car and motorcycle reviews, visits to independent places for sipping and eating, and finding great roads, our goal is to provide each and everyone one of you with the tools to get out and explore.

And you don’t need a supercar to do it. If your wheels turn, if you have a bit of time to spare, and if you have an appetite for good, independent food and beverage, then you have the ingredients to create something memorable.

Our leaping off point will most often be an interesting car or motorcycle, with a truck every now and again, to blow boredom to the wind.

Periodically there will be reviews of interesting gear that makes adventures safer and more comfortable.

Stops at independent coffee and pastry shops, farm-to-table restaurants and cafes, wineries, and the occasional barbecue joint are a guarantee.

Finally, there will be lots of great roads to take you off the beaten track.
